YMCA Camp Ocoee has a long-standing tradition of providing a high-quality, traditional overnight camping experience. Established in 1923 by Glenn Ellis, Ranger Camp is the cornerstone of this experience, blending the rich traditions of the past with the dynamic interests of modern campers. The camp offers a wide variety of engaging activities in a safe, supportive environment.
At Ranger Camp, each camper enjoys both land and water-based activities, all within the camp's secure setting. Campers have the opportunity to select individual activities to focus on each morning, while afternoons are spent bonding with their cabin group through shared experiences. Camp Ocoee's objective is to help youth Achieve, Belong, and develop meaningful Relationships.
Our purpose is to provide experiences, under a strong Christian emphasis, that will build character and strengthen the values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and faith for all.

Camp Program
Each day at Camp Ocoee is carefully planned to allow each camper to develop skills through instructional activity times and also foster a strong sense of community through several cabin activity periods during which they interact with other cabins.
Electives
Campers may also sign up for special elective activities to enhance their camp experience. Please note that there is an extra fee for these activities.
Cabin Life
At YMCA Camp Ocoee, sharing living quarters and responsibilities with a group of same-aged campers from various cities, states, and countries offers an exciting opportunity for both fun and personal growth
