Adventure Guides & Princess Program

The YMCA Adventure Guides & Princess Program brings fathers and their daughters or sons together for meaningful, memory-making experiences. Families are grouped into “Crews” with other dads and kids from the community—creating a welcoming circle where friendships grow, confidence builds, and families truly connect.

Through quality one-on-one time, fun group activities, and hands-on community service, families strengthen bonds that last a lifetime. And with Camp Ocoee leading the way, you’ll enjoy a full lineup of exciting “Expeditions” including:

  • Two unforgettable campouts at YMCA Camp Ocoee
  • An Aquarium lock-in filled with discovery and adventure
  • The beloved father–daughter dance
  • A meaningful community service project
  • And many more special experiences throughout the year

The commitment is small—about one event every month—but the rewards are immeasurable. Join us and create the moments your child will remember forever.

Step 1: Join Adventure Guides & Princesses
Annual registration is $40 per dad and daughter. Each additional daughter is $10. This unlocks your family membership for September - May.

Step 2: Register for Expeditions
Each month, the Adventure Guides & Princess Program features amazing events for you to connect with your child. These events are what make the program so impactful. From campouts to daddy-daughter dances, or bowling to pottery painting, check out our event calendar!

  • September 25th-27th- Fall Campout at YMCA Camp Ocoee  
  • October 24th from 6pm-8pm- Bowling at Spare Time in Hixson  
  • November 14th - Volunteer Day at J.A. Henry Branch in Chattanooga (Shared)
  • January 23rd - Aquarium Lock-In
  • January 30th - Father Daughter Dance (5:00pm - 8:00pm)
  • March 27th - Volunteer work day at Camp Ocoee
  • April 24th - Pottery Painting Event 4pm to 7pm
  • April 30th - May 2nd - Spring Campout at YMCA Camp Ocoee 

How to Register for Expeditions. 

Log in to your Camp Brain account.

  1. Under “View My Submitted Applications”, click “View Details” under the 26-27 Adventure Princess Program.
  2. Click the Plus Sign (“Add people, Sessions, or Options”).
  3. Register both yourself and your daughter(s) for the program.

Step 3: [Optional] Join a local Group
Adventure Princess and Guides Crews are local groups of member families who participate in additional activities together. Local Crews are coordinated by leader volunteers and gather at times and locations that are convenient for most members.
